This set of materials now includes updated savings ideas based on the resource map data and collected from a variety of stakeholders including those of you who commented on Mindmixer. The list has been updated since October 11: Ideas put forward between October 9 and October 21 have been added to the list of ideas and can be found in red text.

We will need to find dollars in our budget to shift to our instructional priorities. Which of the ideas here do you think are most promising? Which ideas would you take off the list and why? As you continue to look at the data that led to these ideas, do any of the findings surprise you? What ideas do you have to add to this list?

Please continue to generate ideas and thoughts about how Lake County Schools uses its resources. For the 2014-2015 Strategic Finance Plan, we will collect ideas through November 4, 2013. However, we will continue to collect your feedback in the months to come regarding our priorities, our budget, and other topics related to EngageLCS
